There are a couple sites out there with free production music, but this one is the best by far!! I was doing a school project, but none of the other sites had what I needed, not to mention their music’s titles were very misleading. Freeestockmusic makes it easy to find what you’re looking for! Wow — I have finally found a site with no strings attached tracks for free! just in the nick of time, as I was well and truly running out of friends to produce new music for my films. Even some of the Final cut pro loops are suddenly being considered as copyright infringement on youtube for some reason – well, we all know that’s due to plagiarists falsely claiming the loops are their own, then we don’t have much say in the matter unless we want to potentially jeopardise our standing, but what an amazing site and concept this! Thanks and i’ll be back again!!

By the time I stumbled onto FreeStockMusic.com, my search for stuff I could use to jazz up our class video had left me jaded and cynical. “Yeah, right, free music”, I thought, “and now for the catch”. You see, I’d already discovered there was ALWAYS a catch. But, the terms of agreement were in plain English, and — holy crow — it really was FREE!
“Okay,” I thought. “The music must be horrible. You get what you pay for, and I can’t pay anything.” I cringed and hit the play button on the first song.
And it was good. Really good. As was the next song, and the next, and the next! All the music was coherently categorized, the descriptions so accurate and succinctly detailed that I could find the right music first time, every time.

For a friend’s donation drive, I used a freestockmusic.com production music track, as part of a quick video/audio mix. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I could have asked my brother, who writes production music for major TV networks, but that agency would probably have to charge a lot — even for family — and especially for the web. When your audience frankly can’t tell if it’s custom (or if the situation means that it doesn’t matter), this is a very generous and useful service. I wish the music authors all the best in their careers. And I thank them all for sharing their music on a 100% free any-use basis.
